We are happy to share with you our radio show We are El Barrio Global: a space where we facilitate dialogues between artists, producers, activists and socially committed organizations from all over the world.
“Barrio” is a Spanish word that literally translates into neighborhood, but its use in Latin America implies a sense of community: el barrio is the place where you grow up, where everyone knows you and you feel at home. Since we at Resonar are based in different parts of the world, we like to think of ourselves as part of a global neighbourhood.

Interviews with several women who work as artists, musicians, sound artists, performers and cultural producers, all of them have in common being travelers, wanderers and multifaceted individuals.
This project was made thanks to the grant for Music Collectives from the Berlin University of the Arts and the Frauen*Fördermittel (Women’s Fund).

Conversation with Laura Mello, musician, composer and performer from Brazil. Her work explores human perception in a powerful mix of electroacoustic music and on-stage presentations.
