From Alaska to Argentina: art and music to understand contemporary causes of social injustice and environmental destruction in the Americas, with a specific focus on extractive industries.

We had the privilege of visiting the United States to connect with different art-activism initiatives involved in protecting nature and promoting social justice in Colorado.

Based on the workshops we facilitated with communities severely affected by fracking and oil industries and the interviews we conducted with incredible movers and shakers, we co-produced activist music that connects the social and historical causes of social injustice and environmental destruction experienced in the state.

Check out the participatory music video we produced. Turn on the subtitles to understand the message and help us spread the word:

Our goal is for this music to be an awareness device that draws attention and energy to the work and struggles of the brave Coloradans who inspired us.
